Welcome to PizzaDoodle, a kids' drawing and sharing service operated by Baconware LLC. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between us and you, the parent or legal guardian who creates an account. By creating an account or using PizzaDoodle, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
1. Accounts are for parents
- You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. Children cannot create accounts themselves.
- You are responsible for your account, for the child profiles you create, and for supervising your children's use of the service. Keep access to your email secure — it is how you and your children sign in.
- You confirm that information you provide (like a child's nickname) is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Use a first name or nickname, not a child's full name.
- Co-parents. If you invite a co-parent, you confirm they are a parent or legal guardian of your children. They can see and manage your children's activity, add children to your family, and receive their sign-in codes. Only you can delete your children's profiles or remove co-parents. You can remove a co-parent at any time.
2. What your family creates
- Your family owns its doodles. We claim no ownership of the art your children make.
- So the service can work, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and transmit doodles and profile information — only as needed to operate PizzaDoodle (for example, showing a doodle to the friends your child shared it with). This license ends when the content is deleted.
- Deleting a doodle, friendship, or child profile removes it for everyone it was shared with. Deleting a child profile or your account takes effect immediately and becomes permanent after 30 days, as described in the Privacy Notice.
- Challenges. Parents, and children with their approved friends, can start drawing challenges. Entries stay hidden until a challenge ends. Then everyone in the challenge can see the entries and vote.
- Comments, reactions, and groups. Children can comment on and react to drawings they made or that were shared with them, and save friends into groups. Parents can hide any comment involving their child.
3. Family-friendly rules
PizzaDoodle is for kids, so everything on it must be kid-safe. You agree, and will ensure your children understand, not to:
- create or share content that is violent, sexual, hateful, bullying, frightening, or otherwise inappropriate for children;
- include personal information, such as full names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, school names, or links, in drawings, titles, challenge names, comments, or anything else others can see (we block much of this automatically, but please help your children understand why);
- use the service to harass anyone, or attempt to contact children outside your approved friendships;
- impersonate others, misrepresent your identity as a parent or guardian, or create profiles for children who are not yours;
- probe, overload, or attempt to break the service's security, or access data that isn't your family's;
- use the service for any commercial purpose.
4. Moderation and enforcement
We may review content reported to us or flagged by our systems, and we may remove content, suspend sharing features, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — immediately and without notice where a child's safety is involved. Parents can always see their children's doodles and friendships from the Parent Dashboard.
5. The service
- PizzaDoodle is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it safe and running, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that stored content will never be lost. Download copies of doodles you care about.
- We may add, change, or remove features. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you a reasonable opportunity to export your family's doodles.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement; and Baconware LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently $0) or $50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Termination
You can stop using PizzaDoodle and delete your account at any time from Privacy & data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your family's personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.
8. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we'll email the parent account and post the updated Terms here at least [14] days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the changes. Changes to how we handle children's information follow the Privacy Notice, which may require your new consent.
9. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE — confirm with attorney], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. [Attorney: decide whether to add an informal-resolution step, small-claims carve-out, or arbitration clause; consider enforceability for consumer/family users.]
